EHS & Site Services Lead – Llandysul, Ceredigion
£31,000 + up to 20% annual salary bonus, private healthcare etc.
THE ROLE…
- To ensure that the site is safe for all employees during adverse weather to ensure that there is minimal impact to the Manufacturing team, this includes before, during and post general hours.
- Complete and maintain accurate records in all formats at all times and transfer onto relevant spreadsheets
- Report any relevant information regarding tasks in the format of handovers to ensure that department has full visibility of any issues, concerns, contractor attendance are captured where appropriate.
- Produce and Review EHS Risk Assessments (COSHH, Risk Assessments etc.)
- Perform audits, spot checks and external audits
- Promote safe working practices and drive EHS Initiatives onsite including leading by example.
ABOUT YOU…
- Educated to HND/C or degree standard in relevant subjects (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Computer literate
- Happy to work outdoors!
- Experience and licence for Forklift Truck driving desirable although not essential as training would be provided.
- Familiarity with risk assessments and COSHH assessments would be desirable.
- Environmental, Health & Safety qualification would be desirable although not essential as training would be provided (IOSH, IEMA, NEBOSH)
- Experience of ISO standards
- Internal and External Audit Experience preferred
- Line Management skills including teamwork and the ability to motivate others
- Must be flexible with working hours
