Our client Our client, based in the picturesque coastal region of Pembrokeshire and operating within the Oil & Gas sector, are currently looking for x3 Maintenance Planners to join their Maintenance team.
Job Description/ The role: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating work packages for all preventive maintenance tasks and modification activities within assigned technical disciplines. Their duties include planning inspections, coordinating modifications, and conducting job safety analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for planning activities in accordance with workflows defined in the Maintenance Manual.
- Conducts regular site visits to identify job requirements and prepares the relevant documentation.
- Reports and prioritises backlog to ensure sufficient work is ready for scheduling.
- Ensures that PM work orders are issued as per SAP horizon periodicity.
- Responsible for maintaining the correct work order dates to meet compliance and reliability.
- Processes daily work orders issued from RBWS meeting using prioritisation tool and clarifies requirements with originators.
- Prepares for maintenance activities, material, tools and logistic requirements, checks material, tools availability, initiates appropriate requests, reservations, issues and purchases as needed.
What we need from you:
- Qualified to ONC/HNC, or equivalent level, in relevant discipline
- Completion of relevant trade apprenticeship
- Experienced and conversant with UK legislation and standards within specified discipline
- Extensive maintenance experience within the oil or gas industry
- Significant planning experience essential
- Experience of using maintenance planning tools, including a high level of proficiency in CMMS/SAP
- Good skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
