What you will be doing as IT Infrastructure and Services Analyst
This role is within the Business Systems’ IT Infrastructure and Services team. The department is currently involved in several projects related to the segregation of business entities, migration to a new ERP system, and fulfilling its role related to multiple TSAs (Transitional Service Agreements).
- Assisting colleagues with their IT-related issues (on-site and remotely)
- Ensuring all IT services on-site function properly, coordinating tasks related to systems and services supporting the production environment,
- Ensure all new employees are setup correctly as per local requirements and new user process.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop technical issues where remote assistance is ineffective.
- Provide mobile device support when required.
- Complete internal user moves including phones.
- Install and configure office equipment as required.
- Perform basic administrative support duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives.
- Aid and support colleagues in IT-related matters when required.
- Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers, escalate any anomalies to management.
- Keep customers informed of progress and manage customers’ expectations.
A little about you and what you need as the IT Infrastructure and Services Analyst
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, PC/laptop/mobile phone, and device configurations).
- Previous IT experience or familiarity with IT infrastructure would be beneficial
- Experience in a customer facing role would also be beneficial
- Driving licence essential as you will be required to travel to other sites across the UK.
- You will be interested in technology in general and its importance in business environments.
- A Good communicator, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
- A team player, who works well with others in a friendly and positive manner
- You will live within driving distance of the site in Orwell, Cambridgeshire and have your own transport as this is an onsite position the location is not easily accessible via public transport.
